It seems like we should have the ability to hide out of stock items for a given widget, for example there is no reason to try to upsell a customer an out of stock item.  We do not want to hide them on the site, just have the option to not have them show up on the product widgets like relate products, featured products, spotlight products, etc if they are not available to purchase.
